The nurse came around on the 3-11 p.m. shift doing temperature checks. So I asked, and her and the sergeant stated covid test back.
No prisoners sick.
None tested positive for virus.
So why am I still on lockdown with no lawyer calls allowed?
No commissary, no phones, no showers. Nothing. Again we will not shop this week. Locked in the cell with the Administration having no legal or medical authority or reason to impose this extremely harsh punishment.
I did nothing wrong. Received no ticket. But punished with extreme isolation and denial of all rights and privileges.
Had a legal conference today. Judge ordered I be allowed to talk to my attorney after hearing. Mysteriously disconnected. Not allowed attorney calls on this lockdown. Not allowed to shop to buy envelopes to write to lawyer.
I believe this is a violation of my Sixth Amendment right to converse with my lawyer before settlement trial.
So please post this letter so the public knows how the prison administration is using this virus scare to vindictively punish the prisoner with isolation lockdown.
The stripping of all rights and privileges without legal authority.
Hey Larry, It’s Matt saying hello from the World! 🙂 I’ve been reading your updates and sorry to hear all the bs you’ve been going through. Hopefully the lockdown will end soon. Things are kind of nuts out here too. This country seems to be going to hell in a hand basket fast. So I’ve kept in touch with Gary and he’s doing really well. We actually live pretty close to each other lol.
I hope you at least have a good celly in there. I miss those burritos you make hahaha. Hang in there buddy!
